This dimming method is called pulse width modulation (PWM). This method is to adjust the driving current to have a square wave shape, and its pulse width is variable. By modulating the pulse width, it is transformed into modulating the continuous lighting time of the LED lamp, and at the same time changing the input power, thereby achieving the goals of energy saving and dimming target. The frequency is as usual, about 200Hz~10KHz; due to the hysteresis of human eye vision, the sparkle phenomenon produced by the light source during the dimming process will not be felt. The advantage of this dimming method is that it can improve the heat dissipation performance of the LED. The disadvantage is that the overshoot of the driving current will definitely have a certain impact on the life of the LED chip.
